Hillwood Communities set out to build one of the most technologically advanced master planned communities, and they have succeeded with their brand new community, Pecan Square. They recently held a Topping Out event to celebrate the culmination of all the work that has gone into Pecan Square. Part of Hillwoods vision included the ability to help their builders begin to show their homes virtually before ever breaking ground. They wanted to help their builders drive sales without requiring buyers to make the physical journey out to Northlake, TX. To achieve this goal, they brought on the Roomored team.
Roomored specializes in helping home builders market and sell more homes with less models and without ever having to build an actual home. They utilize 3D technology and virtual reality to build a floor plan virtually without ever needing to see the home first. Once they have built that plan, they are able to empower the buyers to make all of their design decisions within their platform. Using nothing but a CAD, REVIT or PDF file of a floor plan, the Roomored team is able to virtually recreate any model home in stunning photo-realism. Once the model has been created the Roomored team then spends time in each builders design center. During this process they take pictures of each and every finish option the builder will offer their buyers. Using a proprietary process, Roomored is able to recreate each finish option to an incredibly high degree of accuracy. These finishes are then uploaded to the Roomored platform where potential buyers can then look at them all in whatever floor plan they may be interested in purchasing.
As part of their partnership, Hillwood Communities commissioned Roomored to build virtual models for all 10 of the builders that will be in the Pecan Square community. These builders are – DR Horton, Pulte, Toll Brothers, MHI Plantation Homes, CB JENI Homes, Ashton Woods, Highland Homes, Drees Homes, David Weekley Homes, and Perry Homes. Roomored worked closely with Hillwood Communities and each of these builders to create incredibly detailed virtual models. Each model represents the exact products the builders will be selling in Pecan Square. Within these models buyers can also look at different inspiration packages, this allows them to envision a specific model in a style that is more in tune with their personal preferences. Each of these inspiration packages are created using the actual products that each builder will be putting in their new homes.
Hillwood Communities partnership with Roomored is groundbreaking when it comes to bringing innovation to master planned communities. They are the first developer to empower their builders to sell more homes and to help their future home owners make more confident decisions through the design process with the use of virtual tours and design. Because all of the builders in Pecan Square have partnered with Roomored, all future residents of Pecan Square will have the opportunity to view model homes from the comfort of their own homes, or from the Greeting House in the heart of Pecan Square.
